Kerry A. Skillin

Kerry Skillin is a nationally recognized Vocational Consultant and Expert Witness with over 25 years of experience in vocational evaluation, rehabilitation counseling, and litigation support. At Medical and Life Care Consulting, she specializes in assessing employability, wage-earning capacity, and job search diligence in cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, employment law, and family law.

Kerry holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling with a concentration in Vocational Evaluation and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) and Diplomate of the American Board of Vocational Experts (ABVE/D). She is also certified as an International Psychometric Evaluator and is licensed in both Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Her comprehensive methodology includes detailed record review, vocational interviews and testing, transferable skills analysis, labor market research, and the preparation of expert reports or disclosures tailored to legal proceedings. She is known for her thorough, data-driven evaluations and has provided expert testimony in both State and Federal courts.

In addition to her litigation work, Kerry has served as a Vocational Expert for the Social Security Administration since 1997, and she has trained graduate students, presented extensively at legal and professional conferences, and held leadership roles in national rehabilitation organizations.
