Karen Apy has been a registered nurse for nearly forty years a legal nuse consultant since 2000, and a nurse life care planner since 2004. Her extensive nursing background includes emergency department, medical-surgical, critical care, orthopedics, rehabilitation, as well as geriatrics.
She’s been in healthcare research, education and administration and has spent the last twenty years assisting plaintiff and defense attorneys in case preparation through medical records review, identifying deviations and adherence to standards of care, causation, and assisting with the assessment of damages.
